Follow these steps to set up your account and start using the WhatsApp feature within JeffreyAI: 

Stage 1: Login to JeffreyAI 

  1. Log in to your JeffreyAI account:  
  1. Set up Twilio: If you haven’t done so already, create a Twilio account. Twilio will send you an email confirmation upon approval. 

Stage 2: Configure the Communications Package 

  1. Navigate to the Communications Package
  1. Select a Number
  • Choose a WhatsApp-compatible number from the list or search for a specific number if required. 
  1. Login to Facebook
  • You will be redirected to the Facebook login page. Enter your credentials to log in. 
  • Provide the necessary authentication details: 

i. Select your Facebook Business Account to link. If you don’t have one, you can create it during this process. 

ii. Select the WhatsApp Business Account associated with your Facebook Business. If you don’t have one, create it now. 

Stage 3: Create a WhatsApp Template 

Once your Facebook and WhatsApp accounts are linked: 

  1. Navigate to Engagements
  • Go to the WhatsApp tab in the Engagements section. 
  1. Create a Template
  • Click on Create Template
  • Enter the required information to build your WhatsApp message template. You can include personalisation syntax for dynamic content. 
  1. Submit for Approval
  1. Save your template, and it will be submitted to Meta for approval. The status of your template will be indicated as: 
  • Green: Approved 
  • Amber: Pending Approval 
  • Red: Rejected 
  • Templates may take up to 24 hours to be reviewed by Meta. For more details on the approval process, visit the Meta Guidelines

By following these steps, you will be able to set up your WhatsApp Business integration in JeffreyAI, create message templates, and begin using the platform to engage with your contacts.
